Discontinued Scents

These are all of the discontinued Scentsy scents. Sometimes these come back in the Fall/Winter or the Spring/Summer. There is also a chance, twice a year, to vote for scents to return for a month during the Bring Back My Bar promotion. Enjoy! <3 Rach

Amber Road

Not to say that this one is bad, this just isn't my thing. But it could be yours! It has a smokey, woody smell with a very slight hint of vanilla and musk. Like a very old prestigious library or a gentlemen's quarters. This is one of these scents that smells better when it's warmed up than when it's cold. Continue reading →

Apple Press

Wow the Scentsy description of this is right on! "The smell of crisp fall days: crunchy apples, juicy pears, and just a hint of the last full roses of the summer." Ok so there's not much in the "rose" department, but it definitely smells like fall apples. Not so much of a just-bit-into-an-apple smell, this is much more like apple cider without cinnamon. It is perfect though! If you love fall apple smell, you will love it! Continue reading →

Banana Nut Bread

The first Scentsy scent!!! Back for it's fourth BBMB and for a good reason - this is a dead ringer for the real thing! Delicious moist banana bread with toasted walnuts, whenever you want it! A word of warning though - if you warm this up, everyone is going to want to know where the bread is! Continue reading →

Bright & Cheery

This scent is 1 part crazy, 1 part fun! When I first heard Bright & Cheery, I thought that this would be more of a summery floral scent. When I started warming it up, I smelled pineapple, a hint of coconut and some maraschino cherry. Then I read the description that Scentsy gives: "creamy-sweet lemon, sugarcane and shea butter". And it smells like that too!! This is an ever-evolving scent of summery citrus with a sugary rim and a creamy aftertaste. Super fun for summer! Continue reading →

Business Casual

Wooo! Be careful what you wish for! In April I wished for a more exciting scent, and here it is! I'm not sure about "casual", this smells a little more intriguing than that to me. It's very much like a men's cologne and also somewhat similar to Scentsy's Simply Irresistible. It's alluring and sexy - a combination of spicy, woodsy and a hint of a fresh smell - and not entirely like AXE which is nice. The only thing is that, like Simply Irresistible, it is powerful. So if you're going to be warming up this bad boy, start with just a bit! It's potent! Continue reading →

A much lighter version of the rather popular Perfectly Pomegranate - both in the intensity of the amount of scent throw as well as the actual scent itself, Candied has a slightly sweeter scent as well. Ultimately, it's really faint so probably better for smaller rooms. Continue reading →

Casting Spells

HA! This is a truly fun smell for Halloween! Somehow Scentsy has managed to perfectly capture that magical scent that appears towards the end of October. The aroma of crisp green apples and sweet candy - not too sweet though, just the perfect amount! While this is absolutely a bewitching scent, it seems like a scent that might lose a bit of it's charm come November. Continue reading →

Chocolate Coconut Cream

Admittedly, when I first smelled this in the box, I thought it was one of those fake chocolate smelling scents that I'm not a fan of. Citrus Pop

With a name like Citrus Pop, you'd expect an overwhelming orange-y lemon smell, or maybe even something like orange soda. But it's actually a really nice smell, like juicy mandarins with a hint of cotton candy. It's not too sweet though, it's the perfect level of sweetness. Scentsy describes it as having orange blossom and I believe that's where it gets the sweetness from. It's different from scents like Sunkissed Citrus in that it's not tart at all. Very nice! Coconut Cotton

Imagine the most serene beach, somewhere tropical and warm, without a care in the world, and wearing the softest cotton shirt that flutters in the soft breeze. That is this scent! Not at all like laundry, just a soft, mellow, relaxing coconut smell that is not at all overpowering. And not too sweet either! The coconut part is almost indistinguishable, but I think it's what keeps this scent so fresh and relaxing. Wonderful!! Continue reading →

Coconut Vanilla Orchid

Normally you would think of having coconut smells during the Spring and Summer, but this Coconut is less of the tropical beach type and more of a creamy coconut milk. Cotton Candy Cookie

I've never heard of a Cotton Candy Cookie, but that is exactly what this smells like! Relive your best memories of being at the county fair; carrying a sugary, berry cotton candy in one hand and a delicious sugar cookie in the other. The combination sounds odd in theory, but the actual smell is good - berry mixed with baked goods. I think I like this better because it's not too sweet or overpowering. It's one of the stronger scents I've smelled and tends to linger in the air, even after the Scentsy warmer has been off for a while! Continue reading →

Crisp Orchard Air

Perfect for getting into the Fall season! This is wonderfully balanced right in-between! Continue reading →

Flor de Mariposa

Flor de Mariposa, or Butterfly Flower if you're in Cuba, is an incredibly romantic, floral, beautiful aroma! This scent starts with lush night-blooming jasmine and a hint of gardenia. Forest Wildflowers

Imagine taking a walk through a bright forest in the springtime - with large fields of flowers and fragrant plants surrounding you! The flowers and plants include rich lavender, spicy vetiver, and earthy sage. Scentsy also mentions neroli (Wikipedia describes it as an essential oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree with sweet, honeyed and spicy aroma). This scent is delightfully complex and arguably one of the best earthy-floral aromas I've smelled. Continue reading →

Forever Yours

This is one of my TOP FAVORITE scents ever!!! This scent lives up to its romantic name!! This is a warm and dreamy aroma - night blooming jasmine mixed with sandalwood. Scentsy describes sweet, creamy lemon - and this is definitely creamy - but in a romantic, amber-y sort of way. I don't smell even a hint of lemon in this, so I have no idea what they're referring to. Overall, it's a great scent and perfect for romantic evenings!! Love it!!!!! Continue reading →

Frosted Ginger Cookie

Yesssss!!!! I'm so glad this one is back!! It's just like when Grandma bakes!! Sweet molasses, warm ginger and a hint of lemon, this absolutely smells like your favorite cookie, sprinkled on top with sugar. It says frosted which suggests that there's some kind of vanilla but I don't get much of that. If anything, the vanilla tones the ginger down a bit, but it's not very distinctive. This scent has me wanting to make cookies! Continue reading →

Lemon Verbena is a flowering plant with a very strong, lemony smell. The aroma is amazing and intense. Scentsy's Lemon Verbena doesn't disappoint! It's a very powerful citrus, tart lemony aroma that I think smells wonderful! Lime & Sugarcane

Lime & Sugarcane has all the right aromas to be the perfect margarita - juicy sour lime, sweet sugarcane and a hint of mint. In the box, it smells great! Lush Gardenia

Smells almost like the real thing! If you've never smelled a gardenia, it's unlike any other flower - very sweet and unique. Mariposa Lily

This is a very odd scent. In the container, it smells true to it's name with graceful florals and the unmistakable, slightly rubbery, smell of lilies. When you warm it up though, it smells like a salon... but not in a good just-conditioned-my-hair way. It's a lot like that chemically scent that hangs in the air while you're dying your hair. Not good! Scentsy describes this scent as having "sugar apple" and "pineapple slices" but I don't smell either one of those at all. Maybe this will smell more like lilies to other people, but to me, it doesn't smell good. Continue reading →

Newborn Nursery

My rating is a little bit unfair, and here's why: you either love this sort of scent or you hate it. This scent is specifically targeted at anyone who yearns for the classic baby powder smell. Whether you enjoy it for nostalgic reasons or if you're using it to cover up the smell of dirty diapers, the aroma is exactly what you expect it to be and won't disappoint! Personally, I am not at all a fan of baby powder, so for me this scent is off-putting. But for those of you that do, you've come to the right place! Continue reading →

Perfect weather, soft breeze...the perfect time for a delicious treat! Super sweet pineapple is mixed with just a hint of dreamy vanilla for a scent that brings back amazing summer memories. The difference between this and Havana Cabana is that Pineapple Sorbet is sweeter, Havana Cabana has a bit of a tart to it. There's no tart to this one. Pink Currant & Birchwood

Here's a situation where Scentsy's description completely confuses me. Scentsy describes this scent as "Pineapple and frosted holly freshen woodsy cassia bark." Pineapple??? I'm not getting that at all! That suggests that this is a tropical scent, which it is not - really it's a scent that's true to it's name. I definitely get the currant part, which is aptly called "pink" as it has more of a bright fruity aroma than a dark currant would have. It's paired perfectly with a beautiful woodsy aroma for a calming, serene scent. This is a perfect for any of you that enjoy woodsy scents like Cedar Sandalwood or Frosted White Birch. Simply Vanilla

There's a few different kinds of vanilla smells in the world and I feel like they fall into a few different categories: real vanilla smell, artificial and overly sweet, artificial and boring, artificial and creamy. I'm sure there's a ton more descriptions for all of the different vanillas out there, but that's sort of how I see it. Anyways! I wish this one fell into the real vanilla smell or the artificial and creamy one, but unfortunately it falls more into the artificial and boring. It's a little bit buttery, but for the most part there's not much to it. I think this is so it mixes well with other scents without being too overpowering.
